This Privacy Policy explains how SeeNMeet ("we," "our," or "the app"), developed by Done Deal Entertainment LLC, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using SeeNMeet, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Profile information — name, age, gender, bio, occupation, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
- Photos and videos — profile photos and video messages you upload or record within the app.
- Location — general location (city/state/country) to help match you with nearby users.
- Messages — text, photo, and video messages sent between users through the app's chat feature.
- Video calls — live video and audio calls between matched users. Calls are streamed in real time and are not recorded or stored by us. We keep basic call details (who called whom, when, and how long) to manage Pro call minutes, show missed calls, and review safety reports.
- Account and device information — email address, device identifiers, and app usage data collected automatically.
- Purchase information — subscription and purchase status, handled through Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store payment card details.
- Waitlist information — if you join our waitlist at getseenmeet.com, we collect your first name, email address, gender, and country, and how you found us.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your profile and match you with other users.
- To enable messaging, video calling, and in-app games between users.
- To send notifications about matches, messages, and app activity.
- To moderate content and enforce community guidelines, including automated review of uploaded photos and videos.
- To provide customer support and respond to reports or safety concerns.
- To improve app performance and features through aggregated usage analytics.
- To process subscription purchases and manage premium features.
- To email waitlist members when SeeNMeet launches. We only use waitlist emails for SeeNMeet launch and app announcements.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with:
- Other users, limited to what you choose to display on your profile and what you send directly through messages.
- Service providers that support app functionality, including Firebase (authentication, storage, database, messaging), Agora (live video and audio calls), Google Cloud Vision (automated moderation of photos and videos), Amazon Web Services (email notifications), Google AdMob (advertising), and RevenueCat (subscription management).
- Law enforcement or regulators, only where required by law or to protect user safety.
Advertising
SeeNMeet displays ads through Google AdMob to support free features. AdMob may collect device identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can review Google's advertising practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, messages, and uploaded media are removed from active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or safety purposes.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete your profile information at any time within the app.
- You can request account deletion by contacting us at the email below.
- You can block or report other users directly within the app.
- You can ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time by contacting us at the email below.
- You can manage notification preferences through your device settings.
Children's Privacy
SeeNMeet is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has created an account, we will take steps to remove the account and associated data.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including Firebase's security infrastructure, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
